About Bruno
Bruno co-founded Taleva to solve a problem he saw firsthand in European recruiting: agencies spending hours on manual sourcing across fragmented platforms, limited by LinkedIn's walled garden and per-seat pricing models that punish growing teams.
At Taleva, he leads product and go-to-market strategy for the AI search engine that lets recruiters describe the candidate they need in plain language and get ranked results from 20+ sources instantly. The platform now serves recruitment agencies and in-house talent teams across Europe.
His perspective on recruiting comes from an unusual combination of backgrounds. At Management Solutions in London, he worked on product strategy and delivery for global banking clients, learning how enterprise organizations evaluate and adopt technology. At Portobello Capital, a middle-market private equity firm in Madrid, he analyzed businesses from the investment side, understanding what drives scalable growth. And at VIVLA, a proptech startup, he experienced the early-stage sales grind that taught him how to build a customer base from scratch.
That mix of enterprise strategy, investment analysis, and startup execution shapes how he thinks about recruiting technology. He's a vocal advocate for skills-first hiring, arguing that AI should be a neutralizer in the recruiting process, removing bias rather than encoding it.
Bruno graduated as Valedictorian from Benjamin Franklin International School (43/45 IB) and holds a First Class Honours BSc from the University of Exeter, with an exchange semester at Singapore Management University.
He writes about sourcing strategy, recruitment technology ROI, GDPR compliance, and why the recruiting industry is overdue for a fundamental shift in how it finds talent.
